BOYLING POINT is a free exhibition, in the festival café bar by leading political cartoonist Frank Boyle.

ISLAY - 3X8. This unique exhibition presents three distinctive views of a remarkable place and contrasts the work of an award-winning professional with the perspectives of two senior political figures who are also well-known as keen and talented amateur photographers.

Mark Unsworth is the only full-time professional photographer living and working on Islay and runs the popular Islay Studios Gallery.

George Robertson - Lord Robertson of Port Ellen - has, during an internationally distinguished political career which included a period as Secretary General of NATO, taken photographs all over the world as well as many of his native island.

Michael Russell - the MSP for Argyll and Bute and Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Education – blogs a photograph everyday on the Edinburgh based but world-wide picture site Blipfoto and features Islay whenever he is there.
