Creating a Community, Cabinet of Curiosity

Material objects are an important aspect of community identities and thinking about cultural diversity.
Neil Curtis, Head of Museums, introduces a University of Aberdeen project which created a replica 17th century cabinet of curiosity.
Elizabeth Curtis, Lecturer in Education, discusses how it is being used as part of a community project focusing on their landscape history around Bennachie in Aberdeenshire.
Anna Shortland, Curator (Learning & Access) will show the results of work with classes in Keig and Oyne schools near Bennachie.
