Saturday 25 August, 13:30-14:30, Committee Room 3, FREE

Material objects are an important aspect of community identities and thinking about cultural diversity. Neil Curtis, Head of Museums, introduces a University of Aberdeen project which created a replica 17th century cabinet of curiosity. Elizabeth Curtis, Lecturer in Education, discusses how it is being used as part of a community project focusing on their landscape history around Bennachie in Aberdeenshire. Anna Shortland, Curator (Learning & Access) will show the results of work with classes in Keig and Oyne schools near Bennachie.
