Canongate is an award-wining independent publisher with an international list of authors from Alasdair Gray to Barack Obama, Philip Pullman, Louise Welsh and David Simon. Now the University of Dundee is the proud custodian of the Canongate Archive which reveals the working life of the house over the past 40 years. A panel including Jamie Byng, Canongate's Managing Director; best-selling author and former bishop of Edinburgh, Richard Holloway; and Alan Taylor, Editor, The Scottish Review of Books, discuss taking risks, literary relationships, and why it is vital never to be afraid to publish.
