The brainchild of Dundee-born songwriter John Bryden, The Machine Room brings together members of Edinburgh Art College's "Wee Red Bar". They describe their music as 'bewitched pop musings'. Expect strong, hookdriven song writing backed up by expertly textured arrangements and danceable rhythms!

The Stagger Rats are an Edinburgh five-piece recently backed by Budapest-based investor WP Ents. Their sound is versatile while maintaining a definitive and identifying streak throughout each track, though one may be a sweet summer pop tune and the next may be a seven-minute jazz freakout. Dunfermline five piece Val Verde have been compared to all manner of big gun bands but their take on epic indie pop sets them apart. With various high profile support slots on their CV and critical acclaim to boot, expect pounding anthems from a band on the rise.

The Dandylions met on the Fife folk club circuit and offer a blend of melodic and powerful ballads with altogether edgier offerings from singer-songwriters David Hershaw and Kellie Buchanan. Talented fiddle player Sandie Forbes completes the acoustic trio, adding a distinct sense of Scottishness to their modern and lively sound.
